FotoMe AI vs TurtlePic

Which is the better fit for delivering event photos your guests can find themselves?

TurtlePic is an AI event photo platform where guests scan a QR code, register, and are notified automatically when photos of them are ready — with 4K video, guest upload and white-label galleries.

Everything below about TurtlePic comes from TurtlePic's own website, read on 3 September 2026. Where we could not verify something first-hand, this page says so instead of guessing. Products change — check their site before you decide.

What TurtlePic costs

Not published publicly — plans are shown after sign-up.

TurtlePic’s plans sit behind authentication at app.turtlepic.com, so we cannot quote figures. Their site advertises Agency and Individual account types and a 7-day free trial with no card required.

What FotoMe AI costs

Six tiers from free to ₹9,999, charged once per event rather than monthly. Every plan and its storage, photo and gallery-access limits are on the pricing page, before you create an account.

Where TurtlePic is the better choice

If any of these matter to your work, choose theirs. We would rather you did than found out after paying us.

  • Video. TurtlePic takes 4K; FotoMe AI is photos only.
  • Guest upload into the gallery.
  • Custom domains for galleries. FotoMe AI brands the gallery but serves it from our domain.
  • A free trial of the paid features — our free tier is a real but limited event rather than a time-limited trial.

Where FotoMe AI is the better choice

Each of these is something you can check on a free event before paying anything.

  • Published, per-event pricing rather than a plan page behind a sign-up.
  • A shorter guest flow. TurtlePic guests scan a QR and register; FotoMe AI guests scan and go straight to the selfie — there is no registration step to complete.
  • Per-photo share links that render the photo in a chat preview and link back to the gallery.
  • A gallery design system set per event — five cover layouts, five typeface sets, two grids, five themes.
  • A stated retention and deletion lifecycle with warning emails before photos are purged.

What TurtlePic does well

A comparison page that finds nothing good to say about the other product is an advertisement, not a comparison. These are real strengths, from their own site.

Questions people actually ask

How does FotoMe AI compare to TurtlePic on accuracy?

We are not going to put a number against theirs. TurtlePic advertises 99.9% face-match accuracy; we do not publish an accuracy figure because we have not published a benchmark to back one up, and a number without a stated dataset, sample size and conditions is not a claim you can check. Both products use face embeddings and similarity search; the honest advice is to run a trial event on each with your own photos.

Does FotoMe AI support guest uploads like TurtlePic?

No. TurtlePic lets guests contribute photos into the gallery alongside the professional set. FotoMe AI galleries contain only what the photographer and their collaborators upload.

Can I put a gallery on my own domain?

Not today. TurtlePic offers white-label galleries on custom domains. FotoMe AI lets you set your logo, website, social links, accent colour, cover photo and the whole gallery design per event, but the gallery is served from our domain.
